I just took my daughter and son to Fort Lauderdale beach today. We have explored that beach many times, but today was very different. Today the kids actually wanted to go in the water!! They were not scared this time, they jumped right in, as I chase behind them.
This area was the perfect place to take kids for some exploring. They brought out the goggles and were amazed to see actual tiny fish surrounding their little legs. The waves and sand were perfect, the kids felt like they were standing in the middle of the ocean and could still touch the bottom.
What my point is, is that this is a great place to park the car, take a walk and have a swim. The kids enjoyed the water and enjoyed a picnic at the beach.
Overall, it was a fun, inexpensive way to entertain two busy kids!!
